2Pac - Me Against the World

"Dear Mama" is the first single by 2Pac from his third solo album, Me Against the World. It is dedicated to his mother, Afeni Shakur. The melody samples "Sadie" by The Spinners and "In All My Wildest Dreams" by Joe Sample. It is considered by fans, critics and purists as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all-time, and one of 2pac's best songs, ranking #4 on the 100 Greatest Rap Songs.

Yello - Stella

"Oh Yeah" is a single released in 1985 by the Swiss band Yello and featured in their album Stella. It reached #51 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1987.
The song features a mix of electronic music and manipulated vocals. The song became famous after being featured in the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The X-Ecutioners - Built From Scratch

"It's Goin' Down" is a single by turntablists The X-Ecutioners and Linkin Park, from their 2002 debut album Built From Scratch.
It features Mike Shinoda and Joseph Hahn from the band Linkin Park.

Weezer - Weezer (The Blue Album)

Weezer, often referred to as The Blue Album, is the debut album by the U.S. alternative rock band Weezer. Weezer spawned the popular singles "Undone (The Sweater Song)" and "Buddy Holly". The album had sold 3,146,000 copies in the United States where it peaked at #16. It is currently certified 3 times platinum, making it Weezer's best selling album.

The Verve - Urban Hyms

Urban Hymns is the highly acclaimed alternative rock album released by English rock band The Verve. The Verve were known for their music's complex, immersive sonic textures. "Bittersweet Symphony" was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, and remains the band's most well-known song.

The Salads are a punk-rock band from Ontario, Canada. They have a fairly moderate to strong reggae influence in their music. Either way, I sounds pretty good :D Here's my favourite song from them:

Mi Swing es Tropical is a song by Quantic and Nickodemus. It was featured in one of the iPod ads during summer 2007. This song was stuck in my head - It made me want an iPod so badly :O but I have one now. (Good Marketing)

N.E.R.D. - In Search Of...

In Search Of... is the debut album from N.E.R.D. It experiments with rock and hip-hop influences. Here are the three singles that were well recieved worldwide:

Ladytron - Witching Hour

When I was first listening album, no tracks jumped out at me. It wasn't until a week later I listened to it again and "Destroy Everything You Touch" got stuck in my head. It's a nice electro-pop song.

X is K-Ci & JoJo's third studio album. The song "Crazy" was the albums lead single - which was featured in the motion picture Save the Last Dance.

illScarlett - All Day With It

I was at the MMVA's and illScarlett performed this song on the MuchMusic rooftop - It was amazing. I really dig the drumming. I fell in love with this song ever since.

C+C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat

"Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" was C+C Music Factory's first hit. The song held the top spot in the Billboard Magazine list of popular dance club tunes for five weeks in December 1990, and topped Billboard's Hot 100 Singles list for two weeks in 1991.
